OBC-CRD · Cardiology & cardiac surgery
High-volume cardiac units. Written opinions. No theatre lists filled for their own sake.
India’s busiest cardiac hospitals operate at volumes most UK private units will not see in a year. Volume is not virtue on its own — it is why we ask for 24-month figures before a name goes on a letter.

Conditions we coordinate
- Coronary artery disease — CABG or PCI as indicated
- Valvular disease, including TAVI where the unit is credentialed
- Arrhythmia and selected electrophysiology
- Pre-operative workup when UK diagnostics are the wait
Typical package inclusions
Opinion, protocol labs and imaging, theatre, surgeon and anaesthesia, stated stent or conduit strategy, ICU cap, ward nights, physiotherapy, companion room (comprehensive), transfers, records pack.
Recovery, in outline
Angioplasty: often 6–9 days in India. CABG: 14–21 days is a responsible window for long-haul, not the shortest possible discharge. Fitness to fly is the surgeon’s, not ours.
Sample cost range
CABG £6,400–9,800 · PCI £2,800–4,600
Unstable coronary syndromes are not a tourism pathway. If you are waiting for urgent NHS/private care at home, stay in that system.
